Chadar Trek 2019 – Renok Adventures

We are announcing batch for Chadar Trek 2019– The Frozen River Trek for year 2019.

Chadar Trek is the very unique trek as no other trek offers such a unique experience of walking over the frozen river trek. Sheer thrill of trekking over the frozen river, taking a dip in bone chilling water of Zanskar River or Just standing below the gigantic Nyerak Waterfall are few experiences which are termed as you must in your life and more and more trekkers from across the country are joining Chadar Trek for these features.

Chadar Trek is a unique winter trek over the frozen Zanskar river in Ladakh. It can be termed “Khado Sanglam” by Zanskari vocabulary. “Chadar” is a common Hindi word means “sheet” and is used to refer here to the sheets of ice formed over the Zanskar river on which trekkers trek and along the route you see frozen waterfall as if an action photographer’s picture where he shot on very high shutter speed.

Now there is a road construction is going on from Chilling to Lingshed which will be along the Chadar Trek Route so eventually with in few years Chadar Trek will no longer be available you will driving along the river Zanskar. That is the reason more and more trekkers want to head to Ladakh for this winter tour.
